Rich in tradition, the Park Hotel is situated right in the heart of Baden-Baden's cultural and social scene. Also located at the river Oos and linked to Lichtentaler Avenue , these are two of the many merits of this noble house. Central sights of the city, e.g. the spa hotel with its casino, theatre, convention-centre and the art gallery are in walking distance.

The construction-progress during this project is characteristic for modifications and renovations in the hotel sector. All construction works were put into practice during the ongoing hotel operation. Providing the highest building standards, from September 2005 onwards and temporally delayed, several civil works were creatively and professionally implemented. With the renewal of the breakfast area, modification of the winter garden in the restaurant-area, renovation of 15 hotel-rooms as well as the alternation of the foyer, the ambiance of the Park Hotel was broadly upgraded.

- Breakfast area
Period: August 22 nd until September 08 th 2005
During building modification, changes concerning hotel operations and new partitioning of the restaurant area were realised. Within three weeks, door-elements were relocated, a wall opening was closed, and the vestibule at the exit to the terrace was built in, as well as a new buffet including all its technical components.

- Restaurant, winter garden
Period: September 09 th until September 30 th 2005
The winter garden was closed off and fully renovated. In the future, it is destined as the evening-restaurant. A vestibule was added to the foyer, facing the façade. An uncoupled ceiling in combination with its new ceiling joists gives the room a striking overall impression. High-class stucco-elements, classic columns, various ornamental strips, coffered walls and dark walnut-parquet add stylish character to the luxury restaurant. Illuminated with discreet lighting, the combination of white ceilings and Cognac coloured walls is rounding off the exclusive ambiance of the room.

- Lobby and hotel-reception
Period: November 14 th until November 25 th 2005
Heart of the building, the lobby was renovated during full-time operation of the hotel. By installing a partition wall to divide the lobby from the restaurant areas, it was possible to separate the public areas from the more private ones. To upgrade the lobby-space, several measures were necessary: The existing ceiling was equipped with additional ceiling joists and stucco-strips. Pilaster strips, coffered ornament-elements, chair-boards and baseboard were mounted to the walls. A friendly and lucid colouring, new lighting and all the other measures are now highlighting the lobby and reception-area. Thanks to modifications of the entrance area with its outside-staircase, the Park Hotel now appears in a new, fresh and stylistically exclusive splendour.
