The building was erected with pre-fabricated specific parts. The base plate is equipped with integrated floor heating. With a clear height of 33 feet (10 meters) the roof structure is conceived for high racks.

 

Laminated beams, spanned with a slightly sloped roof, are resting on pre-fabricated reinforced concrete stilts. Several sections of cladding were assembled with pre-fabricated, fair-faced concrete sandwich elements. The remaining facade was completed with a steel-sandwich cladding element. In-between, the roof construction of laminated beams is spanned with profiled steel-sheeting and the roof covering was completed with a flat strip waterproofing foil and integrated dome-lights for high volume smoke removal.

 

Loading ramps were equipped with sectional gates, loading ramp sluices and, partly, vertically adjustable loading ramps.

 

Adjoining, a two-story high flat-roof building was erected to house next rooms, such as office- and restrooms, workshops with storage and plant rooms.
